Lighthouse on Limestone

On the 25th May the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse team were lucky to host Ian Lewis and Helen Edwards.

Both speakers presented quite contrasting topics, and both were very informative and inspiring!

Ian spoke about the Limestone Coast landscape, with a special focus on the Margaret Brock Reef and the difficulties of building the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse on the reef 150 years ago.

Helen spoke about her upcoming novel "A Light on the Rocks" - a magical historical story about the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse.

That lighthouse continues to provide unexpected and exciting opportunities and experiences for us all - far beyond what was ever imagined when it was relocated!

Thank you to everyone who joined us!
